  1. Salam Alaikum Sister,
I was wondering do you actually use curry leaves in curry? lol
I ask because I followed gordan ramsay recipe for tikka masala sauce which included a handful of curry leaves, I only used 2 fresh and oh the flavour was quite over powering.]
I asked a few sisters on café muslimah forum and one sister from Pakistan said she only ever used curry leaves for tempering lentils? i thought i was missing something from my curries because i always used pataks curry pastes so i followed gordan and ended up in a not so nice curry made from scratch lol

    • Wsalaam!
To be honest with you, I too only use curry leaves for tempering lentils and a pakistani dish called Karhi. I’ve never used curry leaves for other currys. Pakistani cooking doesn’t use curry leaves too much (although they are used more frequently in Indian cuisine).
As for the recipe you’re talking about, I know it! I’ve actually followed Gordon Ramsey’s recipe for CTM and it was horrible! I haven’t been able to find a recipe that I loved, but once I do inshAllah I will share it 🙂 Good to hear from you sister! 🙂

    • Thank you for stopping by! I have yet to recreate the same ChowMein as her, and I promise that as soon as I learn how to, it’ll be up here on the Site 🙂
